Complete your quilt with professional finishing options—from trimming and securing the edges to machine binding and backing preparation.
Upon request, we will trim away the excess backing and batting after quilting at no additional charge.
A serged stitch applied around the edge of your quilt to help secure the layers before binding. Victory Stitch requires complimentary trimming.
We calculate binding using the combined length of all four sides. Simply provide the raw binding fabric—no cutting, joining, pressing, or preparation is needed. We’ll take care of the hard part.
If your backing fabric needs to be pieced before quilting, we can prepare it for you. Please provide enough fabric to create a backing at least four inches larger than your quilt top on every side.
Add a distinct quilting pattern to a border instead of carrying the main edge-to-edge design across the entire quilt.
When available, rush service moves your quilt to the next available longarm opening. Turnaround depends on the project and our current production schedule.
Finishing options can be selected during online intake, added while completing your Shop Drop or Quilt Show paperwork, or discussed with us during your in-person appointment.
Not sure what your quilt needs? Chat with us during your appointment or leave a note on your intake form. We’ll review your project and contact you with any questions before adding services or additional charges.
Finishing services are completed after quilting and photography. Your selected services will appear on the final invoice sent to your email address.
Some finishing options may add time to your order. We’ll let you know if your selection affects the estimated turnaround.
